During production, issues such as unstable cutting force, blade wear, or poor scrap discharge can lead to incomplete cuts, missed cuts, uneven edges, and production stoppages for scrap removal. The CRJ double-cutting punch unit utilizes a bridge-style frame, upper and lower blade assemblies, and a stable pneumatic drive system to achieve synchronized cutting; this helps minimize the need for manual scrap removal and supports continuous production line operation.
Suitable Customers: Packaging bag manufacturers that need to continuously remove narrow edge strips, separate connected bags, or customize cutting length and trim width to the film width.
The specified maximum cutting speed is 120 cuts per minute. Actual speed depends on material, thickness, cutting width, air supply, scrap discharge and synchronization with the bag-making machine.
The double-cutting knife is manufactured to the confirmed dimensions and works with the bridge-type die base to cut both sides of the strip simultaneously, helping reduce missed cuts and unseparated material.
AirTAC cylinders use compressed air to perform the cutting stroke. Cylinder specifications must be matched to knife length, material and target operating speed.
Available information includes 500×2mm and 600×3mm sizes. Other specifications can be evaluated according to film width, trimming requirements, installation space and machine interfaces.
Compatible with PE, PO, PP, OPP, PVC, PPE, PPU, CPE and LDPE plastic films, as well as aluminum foil laminates, paper-plastic materials and non-woven fabric. Actual suitability depends on total thickness, number of layers, toughness, coating and target cutting speed. Sample testing is recommended for special materials, thick materials and multi-layer laminates.
The cutter is intended for fully automatic or continuous bag-making equipment. It’s easy to install without major machine modification; however, direct installation still requires confirmation of available space, mounting points, web direction, cutting position, air supply and control signals.
Safety Warning: Stop the machine and release air pressure before adjustment, cleaning or blade replacement. Never place hands in the cutting area or scrap passage while the machine is running or pressurized.
Before shipment, the product is cleaned and given necessary protective treatment, then secured with foam, corner protectors and rigid packaging. Large or batch orders may use wooden cases according to weight and transport method. Shipping is available by DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, air freight, sea freight or the customer’s nominated forwarder. Costs, trade terms and estimated transit time are subject to order confirmation.
Before shipment, each product will undergo operating and cutting tests. The test video will be sent to the customer for approval, and shipment will be arranged only after confirmation. When correctly installed and used under confirmed operating conditions, the product is generally stable in operation. If the customer encounters installation or use issues after receipt, on-site photos, videos and operating information may be provided, and the CRJ technical team will assist remotely with troubleshooting and operating guidance. If a component develops a problem within three months, corresponding replacement-parts support is available. All customers who purchase CRJ products receive free lifetime technical guidance.
The CRJ Group has long focused on plastic bags, flexible packaging, precision pneumatic punches and cutting dies.
The company is equipped with CNC machining centers, high-precision slow-wire EDM and medium-speed wire-cut EDM equipment. Dedicated R&D and assembly-and-commissioning departments provide comprehensive assembly and testing capabilities.
Products include interchangeable punches; round-hole, tear-notch, butterfly-hole, multi-hole, triangular-hole and handle-hole punches; custom-shaped punches; heat-sealing bar; pneumatic double cutting die; and punching die for vertical packaging machines.
Engineering evaluation is available based on drawings, samples and machine installation conditions, together with selection, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance guidance.

FAQ
Can this double cutter be installed directly on my bag-making machine?
The double cutter is compatible with various bag-making machines on the market, but installation space, mounting dimensions and cutting position still need to be confirmed. Please provide photos or video of the bag-making machine and the installation dimensions before quotation.
What does 600×3mm mean?
600×3mm means the double cutter is 600mm long and 3mm wide.
Can you customize 500×2mm or other sizes?
Based on the available product information, 500×2mm, 600×3mm and other custom sizes can be evaluated. Final dimensions depend on film width, trimming requirements and installation space.
What is the maximum cutting speed?
The maximum cutting speed is 120 cuts per minute. Actual speed depends on material, thickness, knife length, air supply, synchronization and scrap discharge conditions.
What is the reference service life?
Under normal installation, use and maintenance conditions, the reference service life is 10-12 million cycles. Actual life is affected by the material, thickness, operating speed and maintenance conditions.
Which materials can it cut?
Available information covers various plastic films, laminated films, paper-plastic materials. Special materials, thick materials and multi-layer laminates should be sample-tested first.
Can the edge-strip scrap discharge automatically?
Yes.
What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?
MOQ=1 and a reference lead time of 15-20 working days after payment. Custom orders are subject to drawing approval, payment and production scheduling.
What information is required for a quotation?
Please provide a dimension drawing, photo or physical sample of the bag or edge strip; the material name, total thickness, number of layers and required cut quality; the edge-strip width, cutting length and position; and the order quantity, destination and requested delivery date.
For a 600×3mm, 500×2mm or other pneumatic bag edge strip cutter, send the bag drawing, material sample, target trimming dimensions and machine installation information. CRJ will help confirm the knife dimensions, bridge-type die-base structure, cylinder configuration, installation method, trial-cutting arrangement, production lead time and quotation.
